As several people have pointed out it's more about the emotions and facing your fears and overcoming them, than the jump itself. The jump is not small. The launch is a good 6 feet high and it crosses a Cat Track before the landing slope starts-at a guess a good 8 feet horizontal.
If you listen closely, someone beside her says these words: "The longer you wait, you will be more scared." This is what we all experience when we are faced with something new or change. However, we just need to take that jump. It can be a lot of fun.
