Measuring Angles with Protractors

I have to admit I am extremely happy to have a three day weekend.  It couldn't have come at a better time.  The weather is great today and has been for the last 3 days.  The highs will be in the 60's again today with sunshine!  It's a win-win.

Just wanted to a take a few minutes and share some new pictures with you today.

Measuring angles with protractors is a new standard for 4th grade Texas students.  I created this packet for my teachers to use.

Posters are great to add in the stations or display in the classroom.  Students can use to refer to as they work through the task cards.
If you are not familiar with task cards, here is how to use them.  Students will get a recording sheet and complete the task cards.  You can do the task cards in small group instruction, tutoring or even in stations/centers.  Laminate the cards and cut them apart.  Students can start at any card and complete all 20 cards in any order.

A fun activity is called SCOOT.  Laminate the cards and cut apart. Hang the cards around the classroom or even around the campus or down the halls.  Students complete the task cards and SCOOT to the next card.
