This is really not something I terribly comfortable talking about at all.  I am not one who likes to share this topic.  However, I get asked about by companies to sponsor products.  With that being said, I only promote products I have used and found helpful.  I value you too much just to throw products at people.

But did you know you can make money blogging?  When I first started out blogging, I began to share a day in the life as a school leader.  Unbeknownst to me, you can make money along the way.  Let me explain.

Through blogging, I have had the opportunity to create products for you and other school leaders.  I have created eBooks such as Morale Magic™ The Ultimate Guide to Boosting School Morale.  I have also created online courses, as well as, downloadable files on the site Teachers Pay Teachers.  Another way to make money is through affiliate sales.  I will recommend a product that I believe and use in my life and in return, I receive a small commission.  Below are some of the ways you can also make money with your blog.

Before digging into the awesome resources I know and trust, here is an important disclosure:

Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means that if you choose to make a purchase, I will earn a commission. This commission comes at no additional cost to you. Please understand that I have experience with all of these companies, and I recommend them because they are helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions I make if you decide to buy something. Please do not spend any money on these products unless you feel you need them or that they will help you achieve your goals.

I created Principal Principles™ Leadership Course using Thinkific.  It is an easy platform to use.
I chose Thinkific because it is the #1 Online Course Platform.  You really don't have to be too tech-savvy.  There are built-in features and buttons that walk you through the process.

You can also create digital products and sell them on the store called Shopify.  It is a great place to set up a storefront and sell your products.  I have been able to share my Morale Boosters by creating my own Shopify Store.

I'm often asked how to make money blogging so let me share a little about some basic steps that most bloggers who make a living solely on blogging go through.  Please keep in mind I am a full-time principal first.

In order to make money blogging you're going to need to have a blog.  That is definitely understandable.  I began with little to no experience.  In fact, I had to spend hours figuring it out.  But, I'm going to try and share with you the best suggestions to avoid you the stress and time trying to build a blog.  Early in my blogging years, I took this course and learned a lot from it!

I recommend creating content that is relevant to your audience.  As far as me, I try to share a day in the life of a principal.  I try to add value to the reader and share any resources I have.  Helping another principal is so much fun for me.  I think that is what keeps me going.

In order to start, run, and grow your business you need tools.  But what do you really need and what do I use?  Let me share a few of my favorite tools.
